Modern Stash Bee Blocks..

Okay I've mentioned before that I am in a couple of Flickr Groups...and one of them is the Modern Stash Bee... I belong to the Blue Bloods Hive... all the hives are named after a Tom Selleck show... Seeing as he has one of the Best Mo-Stashes out there.. *giggle*.   March happens to be my month in the swap.. Super excited... Seeing as we just finished the Dare to Dresden Blog Hop.. I couldn't resist playing with my EZ Dresden ruler and create something from all the inspiration I saw.  I am imagining a "Citrus Summer"....So I am asking my Hivemates to make me blocks with the colors of Lemons, Limes and Tangerines...*giggle*  Here's my color inspiration mosaic... Found all this pictures on Flickr... Love Love Love the colors!!!

I've always been a little into Wonky Quilts...We did a Wonky Bee in 2012.. FUN times with Great ladies!!  Using a Kona White fabric for the background and those yummy Citrus Colors.. I've created three blocks so far.
YUMMM-O!!!

These are all made with the 6 inch mark on the ruler..but I am thinking of making several in different sizes to go along with what my hive mates make and then I am going to Float them randomly on all White Background.  Almost like Citrus Slices floating in a pitcher of water. I am thinking of adding some quarter circles and half circles mixed to help fill in the space. What do you think??  Any ideas or suggestions??    March is just around the corner so it should will be fun to see what the wonderful ladies in my hive come up with.

Just want to say again thank you to all the participants..in the Dare to Dresden Blog hop... You ALL inspired me to go crazy with my Dresdens.  *wink*

Can't wait for the NEXT blog hop starting this Monday.. Button in top right corner... It's the Hugs and Kisses blog hop... My Day is Tuesday so check back then.. for the fun project I am finishing up RIGHT now...and a chance to see some AMAZING blocks I am putting together for a Hugs & Kisses kinda Quilt.  Love is in the Air... *giggle*
Hugs and Happy Quilting....
