Bee's and Hops

Well the first week of January has been super busy in the Quilting Department... Not only have I been getting ready for the Dare to Dresden Blog Hop.. I participated in Revealing a Quilting Secret and I've been working on my Quilting Bee Blocks.  Lots and Lots going on in the sewing room... I've signed up for a few virtual quilting bees via Flickr..  I am in the We Bee Learning Bee for the Second year and so excited to get started on it's block..I've been pulling fabric for that one and will be sharing soon.  The Next Bee is a fun one using all the names of Shows Tom Selleck is part of.. The Bee is called Modern Stash Quilting we are using up our own stash.. My Hive is called the Blue Bloods Hive.. *giggle*.. January block is a Spider Web Block and for Whitney.. We make two Blocks per month in this bee for one host.. Here are mine...

I think this is going to be a gorgeous quilt when she gets all her blocks together... FUN FUN FUN!!!!

Next up is the Sunday Morning Quilting Bee and we are using our copies of Amanda's Book Sunday Morning Quilts to make our blocks for this swap... We have two hosts per month and each host pics which pattern she wants us to make.. We use our own stash for this one too.    Super excited because I love Amanda's Book..

First blocks I made were for Tangled Threads and she asked for blocks to be used to make the Candy Coated Quilt... Here are her blocks...

Next block is for Seaside Sewing and she wants block to make the quilt called Splash... What a liberating block, it was so fun to make.. not thinking about a specific pattern was a BLAST!!!

I've also started working on my Dresden's for the Blog Hop... Block is a LOT easier than I thought it would be... so this Hop is going to be SEW MUCH FUN!

Hugs and Cheers to a New Year  *tink*.
