Fresh Finish

This quilt pattern is from Fresh Lemons Quilts, and it's called Lemon Squares.
I LOVE IT...  In fact, I put this quilt aside to make a second one, earlier in the month.. Check out  the OWL posts.......if...  *giggle*.... you didn't see any of them earlier.    I am very excited to get this finished.  The pattern goes together easily.  I finished the top last night, just in time to get some decent pictures between rain drops. *wink*.

The blocks are 9 inches finished so the quilt will
finish approx 80 x 54.  Great size for my Sofa.
I love to see all the projects over at Crazy Mom Quilts on Fridays.  Amanda hosts a great Linky Party called,  Finish it Friday.  Thank You so much Amanda for hosting a great place to check out projects.   I am hoping to get this quilt completed in time for the Yester-Year Challenge that is here, on the 5th of the April...seeing as this fabric has been in my stash for a LONG TIME!!

Do you have a Yester-Year Project needing finished????

You can read all about the challenge under the Tab at the top of my blog.
Would love to have you join us!!!!  Once a month we are going to showcase
those projects that haven't been touched for YEARS!

I am going to name this Quilt......
Spring Fresh,
in honor of spring being just around the corner.
These fabrics have been in my stash for a long time, over 5 years....  I bought them at Sewing Expo and kept waiting for a project to call them out of my closet....(you could almost call me a hoarder).  I kept them bundled so nicely so I could admire them..and not get them mixed up and lost as a collection.  *giggle*  NOW they are in a completed top that once quilted is going to look fabulous in my living room! Which I can admire and snuggle under, while watching movies with Mr Fantastic.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend..Thank you so much for stopping by!!!
I look forward to quilting this quilt and finishing up my March blocks for the Craftsy BOM Challenge...Since April is just around the corner!

What will you be working on this weekend????

I've been planning to use this pattern as soon as I get some other projects finished and it's great seeing how it looks in different fabrics.
