Purple and Blue is DONE! :)

Just in time for delivery!  I finished it tonight.  What a stressful, yet fun project.  We leave tomorrow for my cousin's graduation and this is a gift for her.   Good thing is she doesn't have a computer...so she won't see it before she gets it.   I was just too excited to finish it and have to show my dear quilting friends.  I did a small meandering stitch on the background and stitched around each block and shadow...to help give it a floating look...Very Basic, but still great looking.  I love the colors and will have to do something again in these colors.  This pattern is called, ShadowBox and I used various blue and purple Batiks.  I found a great black batik for the shadow and also used it for the binding.   I am sure she will love it...if not... I may just have to keep it.. hahaha... Till Next time...
